CASCO worked with General Contractor Bunnell Hill Construction to create the environmentally friendly facility. As an environmentally sound alternative to polystyrene, the "F-flute" is the thinnest grade of corrugated material available. The weight of this material is particularly significant in meeting the environmental goal of an overall weight reduction in waste. The thin, fluted material has also been praised for its stacking strength, low weight and stiffness, as well as its insulating and shock-absorbing properties. This facility, containing corrugating, die-cutting and 8-color process printing equipment, has advanced Burrows’ leadership position in the supply of specialty packaging to the quick service restaurant industry.
